Happy 4th of July !

We had to find ways to have fun while we dodged the rain drops that had us in and out during the the evening...

It made for a long weekend (we stayed up late two nights in a row), but Payton loved the Fireworks !

Paytons New Pool!

Well, I have been without a computer for about 4-6 weeks now, and forgot how dependant that we become on them!! I have been wanting to upload some picture's of Payton's new pool, and what and adventure that was. Payton is in this new phase where she does not
want to sit in the Shopping Basket. This makes for challenging shopping trips, let me tell ya. As I went to get a small pool, it quickly grew into something much bigger and more difficult!

I went to the store during the heat wave. I wanted a hard vinyl one, not plastic. Plus the plastic ones were not cheep, and it looked as if I would have to settel for the plastic one.
After I found a plastic one and headed to the Lawn and Garden checkout, I asked one more time about the vinyl pools. Back in the corner I found them. What to choose, small, medium
or large... Since the plastic one I was going to buy had a slide built in and was going to be about $30.00, I went for the Large. It had a slide built into it too and was the same price, plus I was planning to keep it for a few seasons. So off to the checkout we went. Large pool on shopping cart in one hand, my little wiggle worm in the other. Checkout was a workout, but we had not even got to the car yet...

Focused on the fun times Payton and Mommy would have with thte pool, I forgot that it needed to get home. As I approached the car, I knew that I had another challenge on my hands.

One more trip inside, some string and two Walmart employees later (I'm sure that they felt sorry for Mommy) we were on our way home for Pool Fun!

Here We Go !!

Well, I have only talked about doing something like this for over a year, and now I am going to give it a whirl... Lorri and Aaron have decided to do the same, so it has given me the push to get started.

I have made an attmept in the past to keep everyone updated with picture e-mails, but this new format will take the place of that.

Enjoy - Cris and Payton
